Rainbow Eyes

This makeup was inspired by nature and God’s word in the scripture as my daily Bible verse of the day popped up on my phone screen.

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth . . . and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.” Genesis 9:12-13

Makeup is all about self expression and when it comes to bright colors I go wild with it, no limitations at all.  I love to go bold and dramatic once in a while, and today was one of those days.

STEP 1:

Starting off with .M.A.C. PREP + PRIME Fixator I sprayed all over my face and let it sit for a few seconds before applying my Wet n Wild Coverall Correcting Palette which is basically concealers to cover up all those blemishes, dark circles, or unwanted spots.Side Note: I love concealers since they have a thicker composition than foundation specially if they are high pigmented for better long lasting coverage. Then I used from Sephora’s Signature Collection 10 Hr wear Perfection Foundation  which is oil free  and it its has a medium coverage in clair light 23 shade. I find that its amazing because it doesn’t feel heavy on my face and it controls my oily skin providing a good amount of coverage and its not too expensive.

STEP 2

On my lids I apply just a touch of Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion; this will create a great long lasting crease free base for your eyeshadow providing high pigmented look all day. For my look I used high pigmented eye shadows from BH Cosmetics in the Second Edition 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette. Starting from the outside corners of my eyes I used the following colors of eyeshadow: purple blending into  blue and green on my left eye. Meanwhile on my right eye from the outside in I used fuchsia, orange, and yellow.

Using my Toki Doki Brushes  I dabbed my brushed on each color one by one, cleaning my brush  in between as I did each color differently I normally clean it with Sephora’s Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner. This will help to keep your eye shadow palette last longer clean from the debris of the other colors. Then I used my blending brush to blend out the creme shade above the eye and the white highlighting under the arch of my brows.  The same way you color your lids, repeat the same colors at the bottom of your water line.

STEP 3

Apply the black NYX Studio Liquid Liner along your top lid from the inside out for a perfect wide cat eye like Adele’s.  Then apply any regular black or colored eyeliner at the waterline the rest. Then apply Ulta’s black Legendary Lengths Lengthening Mascara on your top and bottom lashes.

Step 4

Add your choice of contouring (optional)

Apply your choice of setting powder; I personally use MAC Studio Fix Powder which is both a powder / foundation pigmented. Because it gives that nice matte airbrushed effect and it really prevents any oils during the day. BEST BUY

Apply NYX Liquid Suede Lipstick in Sandstorm start by outlining your lips a little from the outside of your regular lips for a fuller look and work your way in. You can always add an ombre effect by adding darker or lighter shade in the middle (optional).

Finish off by spraying .M.A.C.’s Prep and Prime Fix. This will keep your makeup last for long hours during the day all the way till night time. Depending on how much you sweat its always a good idea to reapply setting powder here and there. But for the most part it will keep your eyeshadow and eyeliner from running everywhere.  BEST BUY if you really love not having to reapply your eyeshadow all the time.

There you go! How easy was that! If you give this look a try, make sure you give this post a thumbs up and share with your friends. Make sure to hashtag #rainbowtopchartsbabe and tag me @evetzie_styles on Instagram! 😀 I would love to give you a like back.

A letter from the heart

As most of you know I work in the entertainment and fashion industry. As I sat in my studio today designing, and also working in other projects I got a little frustrated and had to stop. Breath some fresh air and continued what i was working on. As you all know music is one of my biggest passions but as I karaoke my heart out to new music from my favorite singers it hit me people don’t value any kind of artistry very much. Which is something that I have always felt deep inside my heart and I know cause I have seen it first hand. I have helped, worked, seen start up artist’s, musicians, painters, writers, designers, and etc like myself struggle in the midst of our passions and career.

So when people complain about paying a certain price for like a concert ticket, design, or anything creative and artistic it makes me want to  tell them to go to neverland and never come back. Do you know how hard are the struggles for a person that loves and has a passion for any kinds  art or any musical artistry. Which is why I believe with all my heart we should give credit when credit is due. So before you speak to me ever about how ridiculous it is for something like music, design, or art to be so expensive remind yourself all these things I will mention next.

As an artist one the financial cost : You have to pay everything yourself including being your own manager, promoter, everything when you are starting out. You really make close to nothing;it takes a while to start getting all the goods. And by “a while” I don’t mean a few months. It could take years and years until someone else in labels or talent managers see your vision. It takes studio time  which are not cheap, recording, producing, editing, mastering and more. Once you have made it touring is expensive a whole crew from loading, production, wardrobe, dancers, riggers, traveling, Visas, Passports, Insurances, all the legal aspect of  it too, and so much more you can’t begin to even wrap your head around it all. There’s so much more not to even mention when it comes to recording sessions, rehearsals, planning, songwriting, record labels, promoting team, royalties. Plus during the tour life the crew in the arena listen to the stage and technical managers to work on trusses  which what hold all of the lights, speakers, and pyros sometimes takes about 30 local workers, 4 tour riggers, and with very limited hours for example 5 or less to accomplish everything before the show starts. Staging has to be assembled piece by piece. You have screens that have to be hung in flawless placements. All of the technical detail features for the band. Last minute sound check before every show all in less than a day and hours for a perfect show. This is not including all the other backstage chaos and crew that is behind the scene, on or off stage, runners, costume designers, assistants, makeup artist’s, hair stylist, wardrobe specialists, seamstresses, dancers, management, special guests, other bands, security team, and etc.  So much planning, efforts, emotional, and budgeting goes into every album, every tour, everything artist do. It takes a whole team not just the lead singer or solo artist to make a show or album what it is. That is why royalties are so important and are rights that artist’s fight for when it comes to  streaming platforms that make things free to people but then the people who are working their asses for it don’t really see a cent from it and its not fair.

Two as a designer  that is art as well you can’t expect something that is one of a kind unique or amazing craftmanship for a low budget. Chanel, Alexander Mcqueen, all these great designers and even your local designers at home that work independently did not work their asses off their whole life tailoring, draping, workshops,  and etc  to get paid like department store. Not happening! While in tour life you also have from prop designers, costume designers, choreographers, stage managers all of these amazing individuals that come together as a team to make everything happen.

Three: Painters, Dancers, Poets, Writers, Actors are all amazing at what they do and deserve the same of respect as every other career out there. We do it, because we love it and we cannot see ourselves doing anything else but it. Any kind of art you should embrace it and it should make you move whether its your soul, your style, or whatever fancies you. But don’t ever let it die. Support your local artist they are the ones that needed the most. And support songwriters and locals that are starting up because that is the hardest part of all. Not when you are already successful and selling out arenas.

To all of those who are starting out and even note to self at times is never give up, believe in the power of your dreams, and everything comes at perfect timing no matter how many time the iron strikes hot. To the world changers!!

love always,

E

AMERICAN PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION MAKES IT OFFICIAL: ‘SELFIE’ A MENTAL DISORDER

Mona Lisa selfie

About a couple of months ago there was a fake article published online which many people took to heart. The article basically claimed that The American Psychiatric Association (APA) had officially confirmed that taking ‘selfies’ was a mental disorder during its annual board of directors meeting in Chicago. The disorder was named “selfitis” and was defined as the obsessive compulsive desire to take photos of one’s self  and post them on social media as a way to make up for the lack of self-esteem and to fill a gap in intimacy. Though there was no cure there was a temporary treatment available through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is covered under Obamacare. Yup you read that right.

The three levels of selfitis according to this article were:

  • Borderline selfitis : taking photos of one’s self at least 3 times a day but not posting them on social media
  • Acute selfitis: taking photos of one’s self at least 3times a day and posting each of the photos on social media
  • Chronic selfitis: Uncontrollable urge to take photos of one’s self  round the clock and posting the photos on social media more than 6 times a day.

|

Now my question for you is will “Selfitis” be a future disorder?

beautifull💞

Though this article may have been claimed as fake with the way our generations are so active and dependent on social media, pop culture idols, and trends could we or are we already heading in that direction.  If you think about it we have all been brainwashed at certain point  and played a huge part into what we know as selfies. We have to document a night out, what you ate, what’ youre doing, what you are planning to do its a constant natural thing to do now from the time you wake up to the time that you go to sleep. We are most active on social platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and etc. It’s not that is a bad thing to do but how far can the selfie obsession go? For God sakes we already  have to have our selfie sticks in hand.

I am a constant Instagram uploader myself  and its addicting. I don’t post photos of myself all of the time sometimes I upload quotes, music, celebrities, and other things but it is an addictive almost consuming. So guilty as charged haha but at the same time its like subsconcious thing though I do it for the fun of it all. As I let my mind sink in these questions I started to observe the social behaviors and body language of how the people around me as well as on my social media platforms acted. How many times did they took selfies each day? How many did they upload that day? How many selfies did they took before they actually chose one to their preference to upload? Why did they choose not keep the other selfies before that? How did it affect them emotionally? Were they mad at how they looked, did they find it pretty, ugly, double chin, lighting? What?

We are part of the problem. 😕The truth is after all the observation I gathered my conclusion is  that is not a mental disorder per say. Its more of a society mental disorder. The way society are trying to follow trends and make trends happen its ridiculous its like if you don’t follow everyone’s step into what is hot then you are an outsider. Peer pressuring people into join these platforms where you have to prove yourself to others. (Ex.hey i can be better than you or i can do the same as you by posting things from your daily life). You may agree to disagree and I completely understand that but it really opened my eyes  to the fact that we focus so much on the selfish selfies we take wether we do it because we say its for ourselves but in reality we are  trying to somehow seek the praising (approval) from others when honestly don’t have to. It has become a cultural phenomenon  as human we desire—to feel noticed, appreciated and recognized. It all comes down to individual’s self esteem and are you going to keep taking selfies to that new level where it will take over of who you are as a person. Will we move forward as individuals to live life to the fullest without having to feel the need to be approved for all the time. Be confident and focus on having fun and trust that you are worth more than a thousand selfies and other’s like, comments, follows or etc.

So are we Selfie Mental Disorder or True “Selfies”?

Stay happy, positive vibes, and love much. #loveyour(self)first

#StopBodyShaming

A lot of things lately have been triggering me to come forward and write this post because after reading some tweets Kelly Clarkson has recently received some really deep and cruel criticism on her weight from controversial British TV personality Katie Hopkins. Hopkins recently took to her Twitter earlier this year after seeing a TV appearance of Clarkson and commented “Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all her backing singers? Happily I have a wide-screen,”

large

When Kelly’s fans heard about the tweet thousands of them defended the singer and her weight, Hopkins decided to tweet back “Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves,”

“We give fat really cute names, don’t we?” Katie said. “We have baby weight, puppy fat, love handles, muffin top, chunky monkey — ultimately these are all nice names for something that’s not very nice … You’re supporting Kelly Clarkson because everybody likes to have a fat friend, because the great thing about a fat friend is it makes you feel slimmer.”

“Every fat child has a fat parent,” Katie said. ” And that’s — for me — why Kelly Clarkson is an important example. She needs to allow her daughter to grow up knowing that it’s not great to be fat. It’s much better to be healthier.”

But Kelly didn’t stay quiet and said the best response in return “She’s tweeted something nasty about me? That’s because she doesn’t know me. I’m awesome!” Clarkson explained. “It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”

Comments which are both cruel and hurtful no matter who you are and what you think if it’s not positive it should have not been said. When I see, hear, and read things like this it really gets under my skin while it also leaves me speechless. I will never understand how people can be so selfish, evil, and heartless. It is true that being older doesn’t make you any wiser. How grown up people can be so ignorant that nowadays it seems like the older the more dramatic and childish they become. That goes for everyone because that is the image kids today see in most of their parents and if not they are letting society raise them. It is so sad seeing women tearing women down when we should be uplifting and giving words of wisdom instead of being bitter, seeking revenge, and using descriptive words or slurs to each other. I am not defending who is skinny, who is curvy, who is fat, who is pretty, who is ugly? No I am defending and standing up for women’s right to be beautiful in their own way!

UntitledJust because someone is 4’10 at 216 pounds or 5’11 at 120 pounds it doesn’t give the right for either one or someone at a perfect weight and height to criticize either one. Most people who have thigh gaps ladies it’s not because they are doing magic exercises in the gym or surgery it’s usually a generic trait. You could be the most overweight girl in the world lose 100 pounds trying to get a thigh gap and guess what your might get thinner legs but that gap you have been killing yourself for will kill you first before you get actually get it. That is not healthy nor beautiful, if you are putting yourself at risk for a beauty trait then it’s not worth it. Beauty as much cliché as it may sound it comes from the inside. From the inner love you have for yourself and the love you have for others. It’s about who you are, what you stand for, what you like to do, your dreams, your aspirations, and so much more. When you realize that are you doing things for yourself things slowly start falling into place and beautiful things come out of it. If you want to lose or gain weight do it the healthy way and because you want to do it and not because of someone else remember that: “A lion never loses sleep over the opinion of the sheep’s”. Be that lion own it and let them hear your roar.

bodHonestly when talking about weight and beauty standards people definitely need to open up their minds about what those are, what they mean, and accept everyone for who they are. Not everyone who is skinny all thin and bones are anorexic and not all who are thick and curvy are obese or have eating disorders. More than likely they its just in their DNA and no matter how much they try they can’t seem to gain or lose the weight. Of course there are a lot of eating disorders and also mental disorders that also come a lot into play. You have Body Dysmorphic, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Anorexia which are all caused by a complex interaction of genetic, biological, behavioral, psychological, and social factors. But they only way to avoid causing these disorders if you as well associety in all would stop judging people or yourself by “looks”, and start being more aware of what we say, post, talk, and how we raise our kids in a world that is already so cruel. Since its so easy for people who are insecure about their own self’s or simply assholes to say least to bully others when they are always hiding behind their phones and computers posting comments on social media, gossiping around in the hall or so on. What you can do if you are tired of seeing your friends or yourself going through this is :STOP being the victim, STOP being the one who is quiet BE the voice, STAND UP!

dd

Instead of looking at yourself in the mirror and hating your reflection start speaking out loud what makes you unique and those are the things that make you beautiful! Stop living by the rules of others, listen people are always going to talk so why not show them what you are really made of. Whoever said beauty was just any specific look I really feel bad for them because they are missing out on millions of other beautiful people out there.

*Disclaimer: I am not a health professional but I do encourage you to lose or gain weight the healthy way and not putting yourself out there without talking to a professional so please consult your Doctor, Nutritionist, or Physical Fitness Instructor before doing anything.

Be confident, Be bold, and Be Proud of who you are don’t lose yourself in the midst of the mind wars. OWN IT !

Life Update #2

“Life is beautiful and there is so much to be grateful about even on the stormy days” – Evetzie B.

Here is my life update Numero dos. It has been quite a while since I have written another  personal life update which means a lot of months has passed by. I love to share with you my crazy stories from the entertainment world, personal point of views, industry, pop culture, celebrities, concerts but rarely did I share personal stories until recently.

The reason why because I like to keep certain things in my life private. But honestly its not the first time that I have opened up to topics that are closed to my heart. Like for example I suffered from depression from a lot of things that caused it growing up. I have been way better after years of battling with it.  But I honestly feel like when you are passionate in life about something it can literally be of therapy and a source of inspiration to see the better things in life.

For me God, my blog, and music has been the reasons of why I can open myself up to talk with others who have had or are suffering from depression, eating disorders, and so on. I feel like when I share my story with others not only do they learn something new but I learn something new, and it feels almost like family.  There are so many young girls out there who I have recently talked with and they are so lost, confused, and so hard on themselves because of things that either we can or cannot change. It hurts to hear or see their suffering and I just wish they could know how beautiful and worthy they are. I am not writing this because of pity but because I want you to know that this is not the end there are better things ahead and if you would just believe that with all your heart and mind you could see and feel it too.

A couple months ago I found myself lost and it had been building up for years. Meanwhile, in people’s eyes I looked like the happiest girl in the world and truth is I was not. I was happy and grateful for some things but people didn’t know the hell I was battling with inside. It wasn’t until I really hit rock bottom emotionally that I really asked myself and to God what is my purpose in life? No I am not talking about anything drastic but I found myself pondering what was it? I really prayed and ask God to really point me to the right direction because my faith was completely lost.  Thankfully after a good girl’s trip to NYC when I came back it finally hit me that I had to follow my passion or it was going to be it. So after considering things I finally went for what my passion for music and entertainment was in the entertainment and broadcasting industry.

Months later, life threw an extreme curveballs but I refused to let myself sink. Being human at the end of the day you kind of lose yourself in the negatives but once you learn how to control your thoughts and let the positive vibes kick in there is nothing that can bring you down. I have learned to ask God for patience, understanding, faith, peace, and knowledge everyday. I am not perfect and I will never be but I am learning everyday something new and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities and blessings that will lie ahead. I am writing this not make myself sound good but because I do think we have to open up our mouths and share our stories little by little with others. You never know if your neighbor, friend, or someone else could be going through the same things as you, similar or worse. We need to learn to spread the love, and understand one another.

For now I can say I am happy with the way my life is going and even if some days things look grey I am grateful for the things that I had, have, experienced, and for the ones I hope come. My prayers is that you never put yourself down to raise other people standards. You are one of a kind for all the right reasons be yourself and when things get rough don’t give up.

Here are some of my favorite quotes, sayings, or lyrics that keep me happy:

  • “Do small things with great love” -unknown
  • “You don’t need a reason for doing everything in your life. Do it because you want to. Because it’s fun. Because it makes you happy”- unknown
  • “I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I beleive that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tommorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles” – Audrey Hepburn
  • “A beautiful heart can bring things into your life that all the money in the world couldn’t obtain”- unknown
  • “Everyone of us needs to show how much we care for each other and, in the process, care for ourselves” Princess Diana
  • “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them” – Albert Einstein
  • ” I think you can have it all you just have to work really hard, because great things don’t come easily” – Katy Perry
  • “You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place” – Miriam Adeney

And the one I dear hold in my heart:

  • Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

If you feel like this was great sharing then please give it a like, comment, or share spread the love~ 🙂

Love Always,

E

Concert Review: Blake Shelton – Ten Times Crazier Tour & Dan+Shay Experience.

BACK STORY: Surprising Mom!

10644019_697061297045064_23490904_n

Back in January my mother’s birthday came around and I really had no idea what to get her. She was driving me insane with how much she loves The Voice and how she could watch it a thousand times as long as they kept Blake Shelton on the panel. I, in the other hand agreed with her to watching all seasons as long as they kept my “boyfriend” Adam Levine. So as mother and daugther we have a tradition of watching The Voice now. Then one day I told her “Mom, I swear if Blake Shelton ever comes to a concert I will buy you Meet & Greet Passes just to see your reaction if you meet him” and laughed it off. Her on the other hand stared at me “Really? I don’t know how would I event start speaking to him”. But that’s when I realized that could always be a good idea for a gift. So as a totally amazing daugther right? I went online and search for Blake Shelton Tour Dates and I saw that Orlando was listed for his recent Ten Times Crazier Tour. The tickets were not on sale yet so I had to subscribe for the special pre-sale code. Three days later my mom tells me we are going out of town to visit family and that we were leaving at the same time and day as the tickets went on sale. I panicked and try to stall so I could purchase the tickets away from her. But we had to leave and I had no access to the internet so I tried downloading the Livenation/ Ticketmaster app but it wasn’t working on my phone. So I emergency texted my two older cousins so they could buy the pair of tickets but they were unavailable. I freaked out and while my mother was driving I was trying to keep it together while watching the tickets slowly being taken away from my hold. Finally by a miracle I get enough WiFi to score the tickets but it was too late for the Meet & Greet Packages. But thankfully I got us close enough and the results on August 30th, 2014 were totally worth it. Because I had the chance to repay my mother a little bit back for all the things she has done for the both of us. Yeah sounds cliche but there was no better feeling than seeing her get all emotional and excited like a total fan girl when she found out I got her tickets to see her favorite country singer and man Blake Shelton. She even teared up. THE FEELS!

CONCERT TIME:

Held on August 30th, 2014 at the Amway Centre in Orlando, Florida.

Opening Acts: Neal McCoy,Dan & Shay, and The Band Perry.

shelton1.jpg

Neal McCoy was the Host & Entertainer from beginning, middle, and end of the show. He knew how to keep everyone entertained as he performed various songs with his band as well as paying tribute to Michael Jackson. He was very funny and a pleasure to listen to.

Dan and Shay is Nashville’s new duo Dan + Shay (consisting of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) who took the stage and rocked out to songs off of their album “Where It All Began”. Their original sound of a mix between rock/pop and country. Its like Rascal Flatts ,One Republic, and Usher meets Lady Antebellum. They are very talented they sound so amazing and flawless live its like listening to their album with more adrenaline and passion. I definitely see a bright future ahead full of more albums and success for this group.  Some of my favorite songs that they performed are “Stop, Drop,& Roll”, “Show You Off”, and “I Heard Goodbye”. They are both very handsome and their voices are perfectly arranged in pitch, harmony, and eloquently with their lyrics.

After their performance I got a Meet & Greet Bracelet to meet Dan+Shay after the concert ended. I ran up the stairs from were my seats where across the arena and did a line and I made it just in time before they started closing the line up even IF you had your meet & greet pass (which sucked for some fans). They definitely didn’t expect that many fans at their Meet & Greet. I befriended the couple in front of me and made small talk and all of the sudden I saw Dan and I was like “Oh Crap I am going to forget my name” and the lady just laughed at me and said “Oh honey I’ll be right at the exit in case you faint to help you”. I definitely didn’t think I was that nervous but I gathered myself up and when it was my turn I handed my camera to their assistant. Dan said “Hi how are you? Thanks for getting our album” as I handed him my album for him to autograph. I told him my name and somehow I just blurted out “Of course you guys are very talented, and you’re BEAUTIFUL”. As soon as I said it and realized what I just had said I think my face was pretty much flushed red. -_- … like seriously? But Dan was a real sweetheart and in nano seconds was like “No, YOU’RE Beautiful” and smiled and I was like Eeeppp! Total Fan girl Moment right there! So i smiled said thank you and as Shay signed my CD he places it on the table next to him and then surprises himself and says “Oh Wow you really are” and I’m like what just happened?. So I smile trying to get myself together in between these two and ended up in this awesome photo:

Meeting the wonderful Dan + Shay after the concert.

The Band Perry needs no introduction they are one of the most successful bands in Country Music. For those who don’t know much about country music let me give you a quick glance. The Band Perry is a group composed of three siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry. They all have vocals and play all kinds of instruments. They released their first self titled album back in October of 2010. Their second album Pioneer was released three years in April 2013 with their number one song “If I Die Young”. The song reached number one on the U.S Billboard Hot Country songs, Hot Adult Contemporary charts, and has been certified quadruple platinum! Some of their top hit songs from their second album also include “Better Dig Two”, “Done”, “Chainsaw”, and “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely”. All of these songs were performed that night and it was incredible. I had never had the chance to see them live and I am so glad I did. They are very humble and they definitely know how to own that stage and keep the crowd wanting more. They graphics in the backdrop screens had really cool lyrics, images of sparrows, and the bands initials “TBP” displaying while they sang different songs.

Blake Shelton: The Man Of The Hour!

So by this point as soon as the Blake came out being revealed on the stage as the curtains rise up my mom literally freaked. And that was the best thing ever! See the pic below:

He literally emerged from the top  of a short stairway and performed “All About Tonight”. He is so tall, so handsome, and so humble. He loves to talk a lot and i mean A LOT! But that made the crowd cheer even more and a true connection. He would stop mid sentence and thank everyone for showing up and showing him support. He even made a Twitter joke which was quite funny about how people from the industry thought no one was going to show up but guess what? Orlando represented country music and the love for Blake to a topnotch. One of my favorite songs of course was ‘Kiss My Country Ass”, “Neon Light”, “Footloose”, “Mine Would Be You”, “Boys Round Here”, and the one that broke my heart “Over You”. A song he wrote along with his wife Miranda Lambert after his brother passed away. This song is so emotional and seeing him perform it live left me speechless. Therefore he teared up because it so close to his heart. He also sang his own cover to  Michael Bublé’s “Home” into a lovely country ballad and the crowd made even more lovely when they all lit up the arena with their cellphones.

And of course he sang a couple of more upbeat songs before the concert ended. Bottom line all performers were great, very talented, very upbeat, fun, and definitely not my last country concert!! So if you liked this post please give it a LIKE! ❤ thanks for reading!

Love,

Love Always,
