THE BIG O! MUSIC FEST & MORE – REVIEW
The Big O Music Festival is definitely a start to what could possibly be the next alternative version of Coachella Festival to say least. The festival took place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando on Sunday December 7th from eleven o ‘ clock presented by Orlando’s new alternative station X 107.3 FM. They had three stages all together sponsored by the Jagermeifer, Axis Local Noise, and the main stage Monster Energy. General Admission started at $39.50 and VIP: $89.50
The Big O definitely brought an all time lineup from performances of bands like Felicity,The New Politics, J. Roddy, Bear Hands, Big Data, Dirty Heads, Young The Giant to legendary bands like Weezer and since 2009 Fall Out Boy!
My top personal favorite performances: Big Data, Dirty Heads, Young The Giant, Weezer, and of course Fall Out Boy!!
Besides rocking out all day, meeting some lovely music fest fans, and having the time of my life with my best friend dancing and singing; I also took time to scope out the scene. Here are some cool photos I took of the festival scene.

There were some modern, unique, and eccentric vendors some wish I had the pleasure to talk to them more about their brands, and getting to know them better.
MEET: THEN NOW ALWAYS CO
Owned by Orlando based couple Troy and Tiffany Lano now residing in Portland, Oregon. They started their company and brand in the midst of 2012-2013 mostly inspired by Hebrews 13:8. They are a Christian American made Apparel and Jewelry line that carry Tees, Tanks, Crewneck Sweaters, Beanies, Necklaces, and more. They often collaborate with a friend of theirs who is a professional photographer whose images is often printed as design on their apparel. How cool is that! You can find them on Facebook or shop here.
MEET: TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS
Most of you may have already heard of this amazing foundation and if you have not I encouraged you to take some time and check them out. But basically, To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement which inspires hope and finding help for those are struggling with mental health issues like depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to help encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery which they are able to do when you donate or purchase any of their merchandise online. To donate: http://twloha.com/donate
I hold a special place in my heart for this foundation as I have struggled with depression myself and I am so glad I was able to get my “To Write Love On Her Arms” bracelet and know that it will make a difference on someone else’s life.
MEET: CULTURE CROSS
Owned by Ben Chaffee, and Alex Zinn who started collecting vintage handmade artifacts from their travels and have created an amazing shop of unique tribal jewelry full of history and culture. I fell in love with all of their jewelry and trust me I would have bought the whole place if I could have. I definitely fell in love with this amazing gold chain necklace with a purple stone, as well as with this leaf bangle. I love the bohemian, gypsy style and as soon as I saw their merchandise I definitely identified with them. If you love any of these styles definitely check their shop on their Etsy store Culture Cross
EVETZIE’S REPERTOIRE FBS presents #THEBIGOTRENDSETTERSBYEB
While scoping the scene, I decided to dedicate a space for Festival Street Fashion since we all know we love expressing our taste in music, and arts through our fashion style. Here are some of my favorite looks of other lovely music fans at The Big O Festival who were kind enough to say yes to collaborating with me on this idea. If you see yourself thank you so much you rock! You are helping and contributing in making Orlando the next big thing for music fest and fashion!
Highlight of the night: The Weezer and Fall Out Boy playing their old and new songs! Crowd carefree dancing, and meeting new music fest fans. I definitely think The Big O should keep doing this fest every year. Thank you to X107.3 Orlando’s New Alternative for hosting such an awesome event! Also thank you to the vendors and for the awesome fans who let me do an article featuring you all ❤
